Clerk Chat is operated by OXG PTE. LTD.

In this policy, "we", "us", and "Clerk Chat" mean OXG PTE. LTD.

We collect account information such as your name, email address, authentication details, workspace membership, and settings you choose in the product.

We also collect billing, usage, device, log, and support information needed to operate Clerk Chat, secure the service, understand product performance, and respond to requests.

We use information to provide Clerk Chat, maintain accounts and workspaces, process payments, deliver product features, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and communicate with you.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand usage trends and improve the product without identifying individual users or customers.

Customer content may include source material, agent instructions, workspace settings, conversation content, and other information submitted to the product.

We process customer content to provide the service, support your workspace, keep the product secure, and comply with legal obligations.

To generate replies, Clerk Chat sends conversation content to language model providers. We do not train our own models on that content.

On the free plan, requests are routed through Novita, Baseten, and Alibaba. On paid plans, requests run on US-hosted model infrastructure. Zero Data Retention is only guaranteed on paid plans.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure product usage, attribute affiliate referrals, and protect the service from fraud and abuse.

Your browser may let you limit cookies, but some features may not work correctly without them.

We use service providers to operate hosting, authentication, billing, analytics, email, support, security, and other workflows that help deliver Clerk Chat.

Service providers may process information only as needed to provide services to us and are expected to protect that information appropriately.

Cloudflare hosts the application. OpenRouter routes language-model requests. Novita, Baseten, and Alibaba provide models on the free plan. OpenAI and Amazon Bedrock provide models on paid plans. Stripe processes payments. PostHog provides product analytics. Google provides optional sign-in.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security.

Retention periods may vary based on the type of information, workspace settings, account status, and legal requirements.

To request deletion of personal data we hold, email privacy@clerkchat.co with a data removal request.

We verify the requester, delete the relevant account, workspace, and conversation data we hold, and confirm when it is done. You can also delete content and disconnect integrations from within the product. We may keep limited records where the law requires it, such as billing records.

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration.

No online service can guarantee absolute security, so you should use strong account credentials and limit workspace access to people who need it.

You can update certain account and workspace information from within the product. For access, correction, deletion, or export of personal information, email privacy@clerkchat.co.

You can opt out of non-essential communications by using the unsubscribe instructions in those messages or by contacting us.

Clerk Chat may process information in countries other than where you live or where your organization is located.

When information is transferred internationally, we use appropriate safeguards where required by law.

Clerk Chat is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 or the minimum age required by local law.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to Clerk Chat, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the product, by email, or by another reasonable method.

The updated policy will apply from the date shown at the top of the page unless otherwise stated.
