Turn your YouTube videos into answers customers can text
You already explained it on camera: how to set the product up, what happens at a first appointment, how to prepare. Paste the video link and ClerkChat adds a summary to your agent, so customers get the answer in chat without scrubbing through twelve minutes.

The answer is at minute nine of a video
- "How do I descale the espresso machine?"
- "What happens at my first physio session?"
- "How do I measure my window for blinds?"
- "Which resistance band should a beginner start with?"
- "Do I need to warm up before the class?"
Coaches, clinics and product sellers answer these on video, then get asked again in their DMs. A link and a timestamp is not an answer most customers will wait for.
What the agent learns from a video
- A written summary. Google's Gemini model reads the public video and writes up what it covers. That summary is what your agent answers from.
- Any public video link. Standard links, youtu.be short links, Shorts and live recordings all work. Paste one video at a time.
- Answers on every channel. What the video taught the agent is used on your website, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and Telegram.
Videos that make good knowledge
The best videos are ones where someone explains something your customers ask about in writing every week.
Product tutorials and setup guides
Unboxing, first use, cleaning and troubleshooting.
What-to-expect videos
A first visit to a clinic, a salon or a gym, and how to prepare for it.
Course and coaching explainers
What a programme covers, who it suits and how it runs week to week.
FAQ and Q&A videos
The live session where you answered the same ten questions on camera.
What the YouTube import does not do
- It works from a summary, not a word-for-word transcript. Exact wording and small details may not survive, so keep exact prices and policies in a text source too.
- The video must be public and available. Private videos cannot be read.
- Playlists and whole channels are not imported in one go. Add each video's link.
- YouTube allowances are shared across your workspace. Free includes 1 summary in total. Hobby, Standard and Pro include 5, 10 and 50 summaries a month.
