A customer chatbot that answers from your Notion pages

Your policies, service menus and FAQs already live in Notion. Connect your workspace, choose the pages that hold customer answers, and ClerkChat replies from exactly those pages on your website, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and Telegram.

Free plan included · No credit card required

The answer is in Notion. The customer is on WhatsApp.

  • "Can I pause my membership for a month?"
  • "What's included in the deep clean?"
  • "How long does onboarding take once I sign?"
  • "Are class packs refundable?"
  • "What should I bring to my first session?"

A yoga studio, a cleaning company and a small agency all have the same habit: the answer was written once in an internal wiki, and someone retypes it into a chat window every day. The wiki is right. It just isn't where customers are.

Your wiki, answering customers

  • You choose the pages. Notion asks which pages to share when you connect. ClerkChat can only read those, so planning docs and salary sheets stay out.
  • Edits are one step away. On a paid plan, change a page in Notion, then reprocess it from your agent's Sources. Pages that have not changed are skipped, so a re-sync is quick.
  • One wiki, every channel. The same pages answer on your website widget, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and Telegram.

What comes across from a Notion page

ClerkChat reads each shared page block by block and keeps its structure, so a step-by-step policy is still step by step when the agent reads it.

Headings, lists and checklists

Paragraphs, headings, bulleted and numbered lists, to-dos, quotes and callouts keep their order and nesting.

Toggle-style FAQ pages

A common Notion pattern is one toggle per question. The answer hidden inside each toggle is imported along with the question.

Simple tables

Notion tables come across row by row, which suits price lists, class timetables and opening hours.

Code, equations and bookmarks

Kept as text. Images and attached files are kept as links, because their contents are not read.

What the Notion import does not do

  • It does not sync on its own. Every plan can import pages, but reprocessing a completed import requires a paid plan. Only website sources refresh automatically, weekly, on Standard and Pro.
  • It cannot read inside images, PDFs or files attached to a page. Upload those files to the agent directly.
  • Notion databases are not imported row by row. If your price list is a database, export it to CSV and upload that instead.
  • Imported pages count toward your knowledge base storage: 1 MB per chatbot on Free, up to 40 MB on Pro.
  • Disconnecting Notion keeps the pages already imported. Delete them from Sources if you want them gone.
